Tall and Short

Kabir doesn’t want to go to school. Every day, the other kids tease him for being “tall, taller, tallest,” and he’s tired of feeling different. He wishes he could shrink himself or somehow blend in, but how do you change something that simply can’t be changed? You can’t—and Kabir slowly learns that maybe the problem isn’t his height at all. With a little courage, a little help, and a new way of seeing himself, Kabir discovers that what makes him stand out can also make him strong. So what can Kabir do? More than he ever imagined.
