Rebel Angel: Collected Prose of Hoshang Merchant

Hoshang Merchant, now in his 70s, started publishing 35 years go literature and culture when it was not a fashionable subject in India. Three decades later we have a solid body of work from him consisting of six volumes of criticism, two volumes of creative writing. A lot of his output, quite astonishing in its nights, is still unpulished. Both his pulished and unpulished writings are presented in the manuscript Rebel Angel; Collected Prose of Hoshang Merchant. The topics covered are world poetry, Indian poetry, autobiography, and queer writing.
