This special boxed set contains a book of 52 poems and songs by Rabindranath Tagore, translated by Charu C. Chowdhuri and edited and introduced by Krishna Bose and Sugata Bose, and a CD of songs by noted Rabindrasangeet exponent Pramita Mallick and recitations in Bengali by Krishna Bose and in English by Sugata Bose. 

This collection reveals a passionate Tagore who celebrates the wonders of this earth whose irrepressible love of life is tinged with an acute awareness of its inexorable limits and tragedies.
