Journalling For Self Expression: Workshop with Shruti Parthasarathy | 14 July, 11 AM
Join us for a workshop on journalling for self expression. The workshop will be led by Shruti Parthasarathy.
During the session we will work on *PROMPT* based *JOURNALLING*.
- On the day of the session, you will be given a bunch of prompts to choose from.
- You will have to pick one, and write wherever that prompt takes you.
- You can write how ever little or much you would like to.
We shall also discuss the benefits of journaling & how to maintain a journal.

If you are a novice and have always thought about writing or maintaining a journal, then this workshop is a great place to start.
This workshop is for you if you :
1. Have always wanted to try journaling, but couldn't get into the habit.
2. Have wondered about journaling
3. Have been overwhelmed with everything happening around you
4. Find it hard to manage your emotions and the little things
5. Enjoy writing, listening or being part of communities
What you need:
If you are old school : A journal and/or pen/pencil
If you like to go digital : Your phone/tablet/laptop and your fingers
What this workshop is NOT :
- This workshop is not about good grammar, or English, or about testing your skills as a writer.
- It is not therapy, but it can be therapeutic.

About the Host :
Shruti Parthasarathy is a writer, photographer, filmmaker and avid journaller. She is an alumni of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute.
She has conducted creative writing, photography, and journaling workshops and been associated with companies like IBM, Bosch, Schlumberger, Bajaj Auto, Harness and Aruba to name a few.
