Imaginary Happenings

‘Imaginary Happenings’ brings together the transcript of a conversation between Aveek Sen and Mahesh Baliga, along with images of Mahesh’s artworks, and photographs from their time together in Mumbai in 2020 as well as Aveek’s Instagram posts. Designed by Sen and put together by the authors themselves, the conversation meanders through what delights Mahesh as a painter, how they see the world around them, and their curiosities. A rare early catalogue into the artist’s practice.
