Champaca Book Subscription: Loneliness & Connection — Finding Community

Our Champaca Book Subscription theme for October to December 2022 was Loneliness and Connection, focusing on the idea of finding communities.

Across the three months, we read: Coming out as Dalit, We also made History, Cantoras, Embroideries, The Library Book and The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Moriss Lessmore

We also read a wide variety of books for the subscription that did not make the cut — but that are remarkable nonetheless. In this collection, you'll find some of the books that almost were included in our subscription, exploring similar themes of community, loneliness, and connection.
