Dhoop is built on the idea of exploring food stories at the intersection of nature,culture, sustainability, and design. In the space of tremendous food writing, dhoop as a platform is an artefact that looks at stories both contextually and visually. Now two issues old, we wanted to unpack the theme of the second issue “Commensality: the act of eating together” by eating together in reality. On 6th Jan, we are hosting a gathering at Champaca Bookstore in Bengaluru to meet and eat with you.
We will talk about everything from ‘What is dhoop? And the WHY?’ with the founder Rini Singh, a little bit on magazine design with Navyaa to chatting on commensality with one of the contributors of Issue 2, Daksha. That’s not it, we will eat lots of amazing food too.
