The Inexhaustible is a translation of Sahitya Akademi award winning Gujarati novel Akhepatar. Akhepatar characterzies sheer courage and invincibility of human spirit on the one hand and alludes to the endless adversity that human beings, especially women of India undergo. The theme of the novel is a chronicle of the upheavals in the protagonist Kanchan's life.
