Thoughtfully designed to mimic the pleats of a saree, every page of the story unfolds the simple life of Maragadhavalli, depicted by the colours of the sarees she owned. The other side of the pleats, provides a glimpse into the lives of some of the most remarkable women from South India, who pushed boundaries and nudged change without the drape binding them in any way.
