Join us at Champaca, Vasanth Nagar for the launch of LEARNING TO MAKE TEA FOR ONE: REFLECTIONS ON LOVE, LOSS AND HEALING, bestselling author Andaleeb Wajid's memoir. The author will be in conversation with journalist Shrabonti Bagchi.

We are looking forward to this evening of honest reflection on grief, family, and healing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the book:

In the summer of 2021, India was devastated by the second wave of COVID-19. During this time, Andaleeb Wajid lost both her mother-in-law and her husband, even as she was hospitalised with COVID herself. Left with her two sons and a heart full of grief, she turned to writing.

LEARNING TO MAKE TEA FOR ONE is an intimate, courageous memoir that reflects on grief, love, and the slow path to healing. Andaleeb writes of growing up with her father, of a marriage marked by joy and contrast, of motherhood’s delight and heartbreak—and of the unimaginable task of learning to live again, alone.
