Another India: Explorations and Expressions of Indigenous South Asia uncovers extraordinary artefacts and histories contained within the collections from the Indian subcontinent held at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge.

Focusing on the creativity and experiences of the people from indigenous, adivasi or ‘tribal’ communities in India that made these artefacts, and on the experiences and motivations of the collectors who brought them to the Museum, this book presents a distinctive version of India and of Britain’s relationship with the land and its people.
