Q: What happens after I pay?

We’ll reach out to you with a short form to fill up, and a calendar where you can book your slot according to what works best for you. Depending on the format you’ve chosen, we’ll be meeting you for an hour (in-store or online), where our curators will take some time getting to know your taste and introducing you to books we think you’ll like. At the end of the session, you can redeem your book voucher on however many books you’d like! 

Q: Does the voucher really cover 90% of what I pay?

Yes. INR 499 goes toward your curator’s time; the remaining comes back to you as a store voucher, valid all year on books from Champaca’s stores (online and in-store).

Q: What if I don’t like the recommendations?

The voucher isn’t tied to the specific books recommended — it’s valid on anything in store, so you can use it however you like, on any books, and across an entire year. And our curators will try our best to introduce you to something you’ll love! 

Q: Can I switch formats after booking — say, from online to in-person?

Best to pick your format upfront so your curator can prep accordingly, but reach out to the store directly if you need to change it before your slot.

Q: Does the voucher expire, and can it be used in installments?

It’s valid for a year from purchase and can be spent across multiple visits or orders — no need to use it all at once.
