About the Speakers:

Unmana’s novel Chikkamma Tours (Pvt.) Ltd is, according to Scroll, “a cosy Bangalore murder mystery with a realistic portrayal of queer lives”. Their short stories have been nominated for the Best of the Net and shortlisted for the Deodar Prize. They live in Mumbai with their husband.

Payal Dhar writes science-fiction and fantasy, as well as young adult fiction, with about a dozen books to their name, usually about strange new worlds and even stranger known ones, and about finding one's place in them; their novel Hit for a Six was nominated for the Crossword Book Award, and It Has No Name for the Atta Galatta Bangalore Literature Festival Book Award. She has also served on a few award juries and conducts writing workshops now and then. In their day job, Payal is a freelance journalist writing about science and technology, covering new, shiny work coming out of scientific laboratories on subjects like biotechnology, AI, robotics, and nanomaterials.

Limited spots available, RSVP at the earliest.
