Girl Made of Gold is published by Juggernaut. It tells the story of a devadasi in Thanjavur in the 1920s, who disappears from a temple the same night that a pure gold statue of a woman mysteriously appears. It is a compelling mystery, and a moving story of the pursuit of love and freedom.
