Eight-year-old Kittu’s life takes a crazy turn one Dasara holiday with the arrival of a Japanese-speaking, headstand-doing aunt of his father’s. From the moment he sees her, Kittu is awed and mesmerized by his father’s uber-cool, super-stylish Shobha Attai, whom Kittu calls Sneaker Paati.

With her help, Kittu and his best friend, Bunty, take on the neighbourhood bully, forge unexpected new friendships and learn a lesson or two on being brave and kind.
