Lest We Forget History: Tracing Communal These two authors of Lest We Forget History have given us ten years later a very emotional yet truth packed and very honest narrative of the heinous Godhra incident of 2002. This is based on the investigation and findings by the NHRC in which both of them contributed their best. This we share partly to heal ourselves and partly to document a truth. As you read, lot of questions arise and do we have, even today, satisfactory answers? The heinous act which snuffed out fifty nine innocent lives deserves to be condemned in the strongest possible terms. No provocation, whatever be its nature, could explain the bestiality of the act and those responsible should be dealt with the most severe punishment under law.
