His publisher, Libellus Blockbustus, advises him to edit out a chapter detailing his defeats by the indomitable Gauls. A stolen copy of the censored chapter ends up with the Gauls, who want to ensure it will be remembered for future generations. 

Asterix And The Chariot Race: Obelix decides to join a chariot race across Italy, accompanied by Asterix and Dogmatix. The race takes them to Venexia, Florencia, Neapolis, Sena Julia and other locations.
